Short description of speciality
These products are determined by NGM decree. Directive 75/324/EEC is transposed to Hungarian law by NGM decree.
The scope of the NGM Decree covers aerosol dispensers with capacity at least 50 ml, in the case of metal bottles not more than 1000 ml, in the case of unprotected glass and plastic aerosol dispensers which may splinter on bursting not more than150 ml, and plastic coated or permanently protected glass containers or plastic aerosol dispensers which cannot splinter on bursting with capacity not more than 220 ml non-reusable containers, which containing a gas compressed, liquefied or dissolved under pressure, with or without a liquid, paste or powder, and fitted with a release device allowing the contents to be ejected as solid or liquid particles in suspension in a gas, as a foam, paste or powder or in a liquid state.
The Authority deals only with aerosol dispensers for professional use. Market surveillance of aerosol dispensers for consumers is made by consumer protection authority.
The aerosol dispensers shall bear the symbol ‘3’ (inverted epsilon) on the body to indicate that they satisfy the requirements of the Directive and the Annex thereto.
Connecting legislation:
The Regulation No 1272/2008/EC of Europaen Parliament and of Council on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures, amending and repealing Directives 67/548/EEC and 1999/45/EC, and amending Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 is connected to NGM decree.
