Metrology control and supervision

The consistent execution of metrological regulation was ensure by the quality system of MKEH before the Metrology and Technical safety Authorities of MKEH were placed to the local government offices. In accordance the government decree 320/2010 about the Hungarian Trade Licensing Office (MKEH) and the Metrology and Technical safety Authorities  (MMBH), the MMBH-s acts as a first instance authority and appeal can by done at MKEH.

The local Metrology and Technical safety Authorities from 01.01.2011 are expert administration authority of local government offices, therefore there is a new task the Metrology control and supervision.

The metrology control and supervision include the following factors:

• quality system of MKEH (procedures, instructions, verification and calibration orders)
• dissemination (calibration) of etalons of Metrology and Technical safety Authorities
• education and examination of verification officers .
• uniform verification marks and stamps provide by MKEH
• supervision of Metrology and Technical safety Authorities (comprehensive, thematic, accidental)
