I. Export, import authorization
according to the Government Decree 52/2012. (III.28.)

Following the EU accession of Hungary, a so called special licensing of activities” with certain goods on import, re-export and export across the national border or customs territory border remained in force. The earlier Government Decree No. 110/2004. (IV.28.) was replaced by the Government Decree No. 52/2012. (III.28.) (In Hungarian language: 52/2012.(III.28.) Kormányrendelet.)

According to the (2) Paragraph of 3. Article, Annex 2., 3. and 4. of Government Decree No. 52/2012.(III.28.) on the cross-tariff or cross-border trade in goods, services and rights representing material value, export (and reexport), import authorizations of the Government Office of the Capital City Budapest (hereinafter: Government Office) - Department of Trade, Defence Industry, Export Control and Precious Metal Assay - are required for the exports and imports in the trade turnover from and into the territory of Hungary – into and from the state not-member of the EU, and states outside of the European Economic Area (EU + Liechtenstein, Norway, Iceland).

These special restrictions are in compliance with regulations of the protection of public security. The following goods are involved: explosives and pyrotechnical articles for civil purposes, safety protective goods, certain goods endangering public safety, security papers, protected alive specimens of species of fauna.
