Reporting, recordkeeping

According to the Government Decree No. 156/2017 the companies have to send a report to the Authority on a cumulative basis concerning the shipments under

• general transfer licences
• global export/import/transfer licences
• individual export/import/transfer licences and
• brokering licences

In addition in case of shipments of firearms, ammunitions and parts (ML 1 and ML 3) the companies have to keep record about the above mentioned shipments containing the data individually identifying them. 

The report and the record keeping have to include the following:

• description of the military equipment or service and its reference under the Common Military List;
• quantity and value of the military equipment or service;
• date of shipment;
• name and address of the supplier/recipient;
• where known, the end-use and end-user of the defence-related product; and
• proof that the information on an export limitation attached to an export/import/transfer licence has been transmitted to the recipient of the defence-related products.

The report and the report keeping have to be submitted using the standard forms prescribed by the Government Office of the Capital City Budapest, Unit of Defence Industry, which can be downloaded here.
