The Tourism Department is primerely dealing with official supervision tasks and serves those services which are licensed by.

Our controlling staff is working continuously with monitoring method on the spot. The members of it indentify themselves by official authority indentification cards on the spot.

The activities which must go under supervision are as follows:

• Trip organisation an and trip transferring activities
• Horse service providing activities
• Guide activities
• Time share activities
• Supervision tasks connecting with issuing an using of the Széchenyi Relaxation Cards

Main tasks 

1. Supervision of keeping the rules prescribed by the law and authorities.
2. Informing activities for helping the clients to keep the official rules.
3. Keeping up to date datas - specially the public ones - appearing in the official registrations
4. Increase of costumer’s aid.
5. Information for service providers and helping them in working lawfully.

Tasks of The Department: 

• As advanced task it provides nation wide supervision over licensed organizations dealing with trip organization an and trip transferring activities in respect of suitability, validity, sum and covered risk’s lawfulness of property securities.

• Supervises proper fulfilment of all registration tasks by the entrepreneurs acting in the field of trip organization an and trip transferring, horse service, time-share an guiding activities.

• Participates in keeping up the department rules by the entrepreneurs in respect of the illegal organizations dealing with trip organization and trip transferring activities.

• As to the prescriptions for beginning and continuing service activities under the Law of 2009. year No. LXXVI. Tourism Department cheques the fulfilment of all information providing by sevice providers for their clients in respect of all service activities.

• As to entrepreneurs providing horse service after application for registration it supervises on the site the fulfilment of official regulations necessary for legal activity.

• Provides official supervision against illegal horse sevice providers doing their job without official registration.

• As to entrepreneurs doing time share activity it supervises their obligation for registration and information providing service. Makes on site supervision of the time shared properties according to prescriptions of the sales documentations. Draws special attention to availability of the accessories of the real estates. Supervises the maintenance conditions, location, approach possibilities, public utilities basic and supplementary services.

• As to guide activity supervision it controls authoritization and conditions keeping service providement within the authorisation frames.

• As to EU countries’s application it supervices the activities of those service providers coming from EU countries but doing their business in Hungary accross state borders. Also supervises the activity of those entrepreneurs which are based in Hungary but doing business in other EU countries.

• In case of experienced illegal activities as a first authority it makes necessary procedures against entrepreneurs concerned. In case when other authority is competent then it initiates necessary legal procedure at authority concerned.
